SPD Financial Group approached me during a period of growth. The business had expanded into multiple divisions, including Mortgage Solutions, Wills & Trusts, and Insure & Protect, but lacked a cohesive system to unify them under one clear identity. They needed more than separate logos. They needed a dynamic masterbrand, one that could scale, adapt, and evolve as new sectors were introduced, while maintaining authority, trust, and long-term credibility. The challenge was creating a structure that allowed each division to feel distinct without breaking the integrity of the group.

I developed a complete brand identity system built around a dynamic SPD monogram. The masterbrand established the visual foundation, with a scalable sub-brand architecture that allowed each division to adapt the core mark while retaining shared typographic DNA and structural consistency. The project included the design of the master logo, sub-brand variations, a refined typography system, and a strategic colour palette that balanced cohesion with differentiation. Subtle visual cues were introduced for each sector to reflect their service focus, while ensuring every mark remained unmistakably part of the same family. The result is a structured, future-ready identity system that allows SPD Financial Group to expand confidently without compromising brand clarity or consistency.
